I agree with Migel, good reading!
I read your blog for a while now, but I am commenting for the first time. I was triggered by a project management tool ProjectOffice.net, that managed to organize the entire championship in the tool itself. It is fun to see how they did it.

My %: Germany 30%, Portugal 70%. I think it will be very difficult to stop Cristiano Ronaldo, while Germany need too much a scoring-night by Klose or Gomez, not so simple.

PORTUGAL WAS ROBBED!!!! 3th goal from Germany is a fake! Ballack pulled Paulo Ferreira!!! UEFA sucks!!!!

I agree it was totally a fault! Bad refering...

Portugal was the best in game, Germany always wins with agressive and faking game. There´s no profissionalism on the referees : (

Whats the 4th referee doing in the bench???!!! smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee?! 3rd goal from Germany is an absurd referee error!!!

Germany sucks....and UEFA ..do something about your referees :( to much discrimination. 1 penalty missing from Portugal and 1 faulty goal from Ballack?!! Was I the only one seeing this???

It's all psychology. Of course Portugal was fav. But did you see Ricardo tremble when Sweinsteiger had the ball? He remembered WC 2 years ago, when Sweinsteiger hammered the ball 3 times into Ricardos goal. Also when Bayern played Benfica...I think Ricardo sees Sweinsteiger in his bad dreams.
But let's be honest: The clever team won!

there was a push by ballack, but why did ferreira was the only one to mark ballack when there were 5-6 red shirts compared to 3 white shirts in the penalty area?.how well did the portuguese took their chances?how well have you defended during set pieces?don't tell me that a couple of long range efforts that didn't even hit the post concludes that portugal should have won the game.oh btw, cristiano ronaldo had been such a bullcrap last night.so much for an overrated player who chokes in every single big game.

WE know that footbal is not a fair game ... it never was and it won't change. I can only think it's not fair, yes I'm right. Germany won, that's true, and we , portuguese have to acept it. But we can smile too, because we know that we were better in everything, and they were only better in goals. We don't have the victory neither the trofee, but we can smile because we are the best team in europe (Final:Portugal vs Holland if footbal was fair). German footbal won, but we can smile because our football is much more beautiful. Congratulations Germany, your ice football (with two happy given goals) is really efective! Smile, history have some fair moments, maybe one day we change places , but we will always can look to the mirror and see something beautiful..

I just want to say...
Portuguese were always there...
We watch all the games, we feel this so inside, it hurts so much, but we never lose the hope, till the last second. But we all agree Germany was best, even with a bit luck but that's all part of the game.
Portugal is not only football but that's something that makes unity in our country... and we live it so intense. Parece que somos masoquistas... Para a proxima... That's the spirit! next!!!

Be happy Portugal, we broke them, we gave them a ball bath - Demos-lhes um banho.... Are you cleaner?
I hope you cry in frot of croatia!!
Well I know that this is bad, but it hurts to us too so I do not mind!!

PORTUGAL!!!!!!!PORTUGAL!!!!!

You're right! Portugal has a very effective and strong team. But last night they didn't manage to crack the disciplined german defence. And: Did we see the same match? Last night the germans played very good - nothing of an "ice football" like you said. Clichés are boring sometimes - and the "portugueses are always beautiful and good" and "the germans = bad robots" are such boring and old-fashioned ones.

I'm pretty sure most of you guys saying the third goal was fake wouldn't even think about saying that if it had been Ronaldo pushing some German guy and scoring.

If only Scolari exploited Germany's weaknesses...

No matter how clear Ballack's foul on Ferreira was... That doesn't hide how bad the Portugal defenders were in set pieces, running back to defend (Bosingwa and Ferreira), and Scolari insisting on Ferreira as a left-back in the starting lineup.
